The duo behind Juicy Couture, Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor have created a new line incorporating their California cool style with a more mature look named after themselves, Skaist-Taylor. For the most part I really liked many of the pieces. There were a few that I would never even venture to try on, but all lines have a few crazy items it seems. Lots of layering, comfortable, blousy dresses & tops, and fur & hats are prominent throughout the apparel's design. See complete line here.
I truly adored Rachel Zoe's Fall 2012 line - so many pieces I could and would wear!! It's full of suit separates, short coats, and flowy dresses with that 60's/70's rock n' roll style and hints of the British girl look. There is actually a lot more color incorporated into the line that I was expecting for 1) Rachel wears black 80% of the time and 2) these are clothes for fall and winter when most people do start wearing mostly dark clothes. I'm loving the mustard and forest green she used throughout.
I'm 'lit-erally dying' for those black leather pants (image 3 down, left side). That was one of my definite overall favorite looks. Something else I liked about her show was how beautifully natural all the models looked. Loving the simple make-up and hair.
According to Who What Wear Rachel Zoe Fall 2012 pieces will be available for purchase via Moda Operandi today until February 19th! So those gorgeous black leather pants would be a great Valentine gift...probably from myself to myself. :)
