Primarily because of this guy, Chris Carpenter, I'm ecstatic today!! Carpenter threw his 15th career complete-game shutout allowing only 2 hits and striking out 11.
My Cardinals made it to the post-season completing one of the greatest comebacks in baseball history. They came from a 10 1/2 game deficit behind the Braves in the NL Wild Card race and 10 games behind the Brewers in the NL Central to make it to the playoffs.
Just look how happy Yadi is. My brother's family just named their yellow lab after him. :)
And let the celebrating begin after finding out the Braves lost!! Beer and champagne for everyone!!
