Color Me Pink

Although both of my grandmothers were unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with breast cancer they were also survivors.  The condition did take a toll on their bodies; each undergoing mastectomies, experiencing loss of hair, and becoming much weaker physically.  Neither one are with our families any longer, however, I remember them often and hope & pray the disease does not continue further into generations reaching my mother, sister, nieces, or cousins.  I am thankful at how far research has come to aid those with breast cancer, but there is still a long way to go. 

I'm participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Tampa on October 22nd.  Everyone wears their decorated bra on the outside of their shirts - super cute idea, right?  If you are interested in walking with our group just contact me or you can help donate to my fundraising goal by clicking on the link below:
