I've been contemplating the past couple of weeks about what color to bring into our bedroom, because like I said last week I can't take the simple black and white anymore. I ordered a new duvet and shams from West Elm this week, but they are mainly white, because I am in the mood for all white bedding for a change. I may throw in some pillows at the end for a finished look that have some pizzazz to them. Anyway, I first came up with mint. Mint isn't a color I have anywhere else in the house. It would feel fresh, colorful, but not too bright and calming as a bedroom should. As I was scouring other blogs for inspiration, mainly The Perfect Palette, I came across coral and decided this needed further investigation. I just collected a montage of pictures to give me an idea if this is in fact the route I want to take our bedroom in. The bed and curtains will stay black & white, the walls white, the floors wooden so it will just be a splash here and there. I'm thinking of painting our nightstands coral and I really need some art above the bed.
By the way, is that sofa up there with the kaleidoscope flower pillows with gobs of artwork on the wall to die for or what???

Oh! And I just bought these lovely ladies at Nordstrom this week! So I will for sure be sporting some coral this spring. Would be perfect if I could get that Anya Hindmarch beach tote up there.
